I’m a freelance production sound mixer in Houston. Through Audiozin, I record dialogue for television, documentaries, films and branded productions, from a planned sit-down to whatever happens next.

Dialogue recording, boom and wireless microphones for interviews, documentary and reality TV. A setup that can follow the conversation when the scene starts moving.

Sound mixing, boom operation or sound supervision. Bring me in with a sound package, or book me for labor using your production’s gear.

Sound Devices and Lectrosonics. Equipment and crew sized to the shoot, with the details worked out before the first camera rolls.

Locations change. Conversations overlap. Someone has one more question after everyone thinks the interview is over. That’s part of the job.

I prepare, listen, speak up when something needs attention, and adjust as the day changes. My job is to bring the edit the sound it needs.

Based in Houston. Working throughout Texas and Louisiana, with other locations by arrangement.

What kind of productions do you work on?

Reality television, documentaries, films, corporate interviews and branded video. Audiozin provides location sound recording and mixing, boom operation, wireless microphone setups and sound supervision.

Are you based in Houston? Do you travel?

Yes. I’m a Houston, Texas-based sound mixer. Texas and Louisiana are my primary work areas. Other locations are by arrangement; send the location and dates so we can discuss availability and travel.

Can I book you with gear or for labor only?

Either works. I work with Sound Devices and Lectrosonics, with sound packages planned around your shoot. The basic kit includes a mixer/recorder, boom, two wireless microphones and a non-timecode slate. Additional equipment is quoted separately. I also take labor-only bookings using production’s gear.

How do I get a quote for location sound?
